About Me

I'm a freelance translator (current project - a new language version of a popular internet application for a client in the US), editor (stacks of really boring scientific papers in the field of plant molecular biology, plant genetics and plant physiology) and writer (Real Travel, Bradt Travel Guides, Go Nomad, Automotive Traveler, National Geographic Society, Europe a la Carte and many others).

I also work as a Swedish/Polish language consultant for Transparent Language in the US, review books for Random House, and occasionally teach, as well.

I've only recently begun working with clients in Poland and I'm really enjoying the experience. While I can and from time to time do translate into Polish, I am much comfortable writing in English. I normally use the AP Stylebook, but can produce British English, too, if my clients so desire. I can also speak Japanese (Kita-Kanto accent), Spanish (Mexican) and I'm currently working on improving my Russian.
